Release for Black Orchid is coming up fast! I’ll be here before we know it. I’m wrapping up editing with Wendy over the next few weeks. The book cover is done and set for a cover reveal in mid-May. Blog tour is also scheduled. Time to finalize a blurb for the back with my usual request for some input from my awesome readers.
Read the 3 options below… What’s your favorite? And why? If you like some lines or sections better than others – for example you like Option #2 best except for this one line from Option #3 – let me know. I’m working to get the best combo of concepts/images together.
Option #1
Adelaide Jenner is completely numb inside. Her fated love, Nate Pierce, inexplicably abandoned her to join their greatest enemy. In the history of the Svatura people, no te’sorthene bond has ever been broken while both still lived. On that day, her sister turned off all Adelaide’s emotions in order to save her from a heartbreak that could push her over the edge of sanity.
But Adelaide, without the ability to feel, could pose a terrible threat to her own people. Great power wielded without compassion or love can only lead to pain. A fact demonstrated all too well by Maddox, a sadistic dragon shifter who lost his own te’sorthene. He is now determined to enslave or destroy all Svatura. And he has Nate.
The only hope of finally defeating Maddox is for Adelaide and her sisters to combine their growing powers against him. But the the key to a Svatura’s power is the heart, and Adelaide’s is still missing.

Option #3

But Adelaide, emotionless, could be a dangerous thing, especially given the powers she now possesses.
In the history of their people, no te’sorthene bond has ever been broken while both still lived. But Nate Pierce was brainwashed to believe Adelaide had deceived him. He destroyed a relationship he thought to be false. Nate now serves Maddox, unaware that his new leader is determined to enslave all Svatura.

I like option 2, however, I like the second paragraph from option 1. I think you should mix that particular paragraph with option 2 & that would be the perfect blurb for this upcoming book. Can't wait till this book comes out! Keep up the excellent hard work your doing. God bless you.
Of these three choices, I like option 2 the best.
I like #3 the best. Even if I had no idea what this series was about, that's the one that would make me pick it up and check it out. It's suspenseful and intriguing.
