The Liar’s Crown is set in the world of Nova which breaks into six distinct dominions (landmasses like continents). Each dominion is named for and ruled by one of the six goddess, each of whom formed her dominion based on her own preferences including climate, creatures, culture, and so forth, which ended up like different biomes.
