The PRISM Award winners were announced tonight in a live stream event! I was thrilled to place 1st with The Rookie (Fire’s Edge #2) and tied for 2nd with The Rogue King (Inferno Rising #1) in the Dark Paranormal category!!!!
The PRISM Award is a prestigious contest held annually by the fabulous Fantasy, Futuristic, & Paranormal (FF&P) chapter of Romance Writers of America (RWA). The contest is for published paranormal romance authors in 8 paranormal romance categories, plus the ‘Best First Book’ and ‘Best Book’ awards. All books are judged by peers in the paranormal romance genre, which makes it that much more special to me.
I was honored simply to be a double finalist and honestly shocked to win! Especially up against fellow authors Katie Reus (tied for 2nd place) and Casey Wyatt (3rd place) whose books are fantastic!
A huge congrats to all the winners in the various categories! Thank you to FF&P for running a fantastic yearly contest. Thank you to my agent Evan Marhsall, my editor Heather Howland, and the entire team at Entangled Publishing for helping to make every book we do together the best it can be!
