Buns & Roses 2023 Recap – So Much Fun!

Thanks to amazing and fun readers and event runners and fellow authors, I had the absolute best time at Buns & Roses this weekend!

I got to hang out with and talk with so many fabulously wonderful people.

As always, just getting to be around other people who love reading and romance books just fills my will to overflowing. Highlights of this event include…

One of my readers told me how my dragon shifters helped get her through her fight with cancer. Just to be even a small part of that journey is such an honor and makes me so incredibly happy that my stories helped even just a little bit.

My table sold out for the very first time at a ticketed event! And I had such a fantastic time getting to talk with all the wonderful people who sat with me. Thank you so much!

One of my readers brought me a homemade Christmas ornament with tiny versions of my books (my contemporary cowboy Hills of Texas series) inside.

Getting to see author friends I haven’t seen in a while, and getting to make new author friends!

I love so much that proceeds from this event go to the Richardson Adult Literacy Center.

Alka Joshi gave a great keynote speach, and Cathy Maxwell entertained us all as the awesome MC.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, to all the event runners who make this event not only possible but such a delight! I hope everyone who attended had a fantastic time and picked up a ton of great reads!
