Five Word Friday is my goofy way of sharing what’s top of mind for me each week – usually writing related, but not always. If you think it’s a fun concept, I invite you to reciprocate with your own five words/topics that are top of mind for you – either in the comments below or on your own blog post and share the link.
***ADDITION*** My prayers and thoughts for those caught in the nasty weather in the NE. Your situation is obviously much more serious than ours. Stay warm and safe out there, friends!
My five top of mind items for Friday, February 20th, are:
1. Writing
I’m in the thick of writing Shadowcat Nation #3 (tentative title Imogen’s Fury). About 100 pages in with another 150 or so to go. Really flowing now, but I’m in the obsessive phase.
2. Marketing
Both Sarai’s Fortune (Shadowcat Nation #2) and Blue Violet (Svtura #1) are in the flow at Wild Rose Press. Starting to put together a release/marketing campaign for both. (Early prep.)
3. House
Having just returned from vacation, and because I’m obsessively writing, my house is a disaster. Will be scrubbing this weekend.
4. Board
As the new VP of Communications for Contemporary Romance Writers (RWA online chapter) I’m working hard behind the scenes to bring some new ideas out via social media. March/April will be fun!
5. Weather
The NE is getting all our rain/snow. Our ski in/ski out condo in Tahoe could ski in or out. The runs had snow, but nothing else. It was in the 60s up there. Doesn’t bode well for summer drought season.

Want to see a goofy blooper of me recording this? Just for giggles.
