Genre: Romance; SubGenre: Erotica
Stranded on a deserted island doesn’t sound so bad when you’re with three sexy men. What inspired the idea?
I was on vacation in the Caribbean with a bunch of friends. I was relaxing on the beach with a book, a drink, my big floppy hat shading my eyes. Loud laughter distracted me from my book. I looked up. Three men and woman were horsing around in the water, splashing each other, having fun. In the background a plane flew low over the horizon—very much like the cover of my book. I did the “what if” game. What if a sexually naïve woman ends up on a deserted island with three men after their plane crashes. South Seas Seduction was born.
With three sexy men to pick from, did you find it difficult not to choose a favorite and just concentrate on him?
In the beginning, Tony stood out as the one to be in the forefront, but as the book progressed, Jack became the leader. It was hard not revealing who she ends up with. Rather tricky.
Which was your favorite chapter or scene to write? Why?
I think my favorite scene was where Emma decides to take charge of the situation. She finds the men relaxing in a warm pool and surprises them. I like that scene because it begins to show how feisty she can be.
Five words that describe your writing style?
Wow, that’s a hard one. Sexy. Hot. Romantic. Funny. HEA.
When/where do your best writing ideas come to you?
I get ideas anywhere and anytime. Once I got an idea while out on a date. Without anything to write on, I chose my date’s arm. I didn’t get a second date.
What is the first thing you remember writing?
A poem in fifth grade. Out teacher entered our poems in a contest. I took second place.
If you were going on a reality TV show, which would you choose?
Probably Survivor. Not that I’d win, but I like the idea of adventure, trying to survive, being in the wilderness —or a deserted island.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
From the time she was a teenager, Anita would sneak her mother’s romances and read them until all hours of the night. She never thought about creating one herself, but fell into it with a few friends. On an over-long road trip, they started talking about their favorite authors and why they like their books. To kill time, they started making up their own characters and plot.
From that point on, Anita had story ideas and characters filling her head. Finally, to shut them up, (or so she thought), she started writing them down, surprised at how erotic her characters turned out to be.
Now, in between being a pharmacist, taking care of her two cats, and spending time with her family and friends, she writes. Her stories are about love and romance on the edge.
Her first book, South Seas Seduction, an erotica with The Wild Rose Press, will be released later this year.
Sounds like a fascinating read. I’ll have to pick up a copy.
